Warmest welcome to Dr Nicola Moore

We are delighted to welcome Dr Nicola Moore BDS, BSc, to the Oakland dental team.

Nicola has worked in the field of dentistry for 29 years. She began her career as a dental technician (making dentures and crowns) and then completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Materials. Nicola then continued her skills by completing a second degree to become a Dental Surgeon. She was mentored by one of the UK’s leading specialists based in London. Since this time she has been accredited with numerous post graduate courses.

At Oaklands Dental Care you will be warmly greeted and will be able to discuss any concerns that you may have with Nicola, Including the following:

  • Cosmetic Dentistry (Veneers, Composite bonding, Whitening, Crown replacement and filling replacements)

  • Invisible braces to straighten teeth over a matter of weeks, systems that we offer include, Invisalign, Smilelign, Night time aliners-9 hour wear and C-fast white fixed braces.

  • Implants a fixed alternative to dentures

  • Management of jaw pain, known as TMD

  • Sports guards for professional and growing athletes

Nicola follows “Minimal Invasive Principles” meaning the least amount of damage occurs to your natural tooth during dental procedures, this will help minimise the risk and pain in the future.

Nicola also has a special interest in denture, being a qualified dental technician as well as a dental surgeon, she can personally design a bespoke denture to meet your individual needs. She will closely discuss all technical processes with our technicians.

All of Nicola’s work is guaranteed, you will be cared for a guided through all your dental treatment calmly and professionally.

As a mother of two she is equipped to look after you and all your family.

Nicky is available Monday- Friday and one Saturday per month.
